Design.

After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design, I started my career in NYC, at American Management Association. At one point, I took it upon myself to design what I thought the company's website should look like. Shortly after, I was called into the CEO's office to go over the vision. Right there I realized the power and influence a website could have.

UI/UX.

Specializing in Touch Kiosks, I've learned a lot about the user experience. I was lucky enough to see first-hand, how my software affects users in the realm of touch screens. That perspective has impacted the way I create user experiences for the web.

Frontend Development.

Early in my career when I was just a designer, I felt so limited not being able to build a website. I had concepts to bring to life, but no idea how to do it. Not too long after that realization, I pursued development, and I haven't looked back since. The ability to turn an idea into something impactful is so rewarding.

Backend Development.

Working in a small company, I was part of building websites from start to finish. This required me to take my talents to the backend. Using Firebase as our core database and Google Cloud Functions with Jest as our testing framework, I can now confidently build safe/powerful features.

Communication Skills.

Being in a small company meant I had to take on numerous roles. One of them was working closely with clients to establish a product/share project progression. As my communication and techincal skills grew, I ended up taking people under my wing, managing and mentoring.
